This is the realio dealio! This here a physical copy of "speak", our debut album out on Origin Records. Believe it or not, the whole thing is self-written, recorded and produced. The disc itself comes in a super-sexy limited edition four-panel wallet manufactured by Stumptown Printers in Portland, OR. It's an authentic Northwest export, to be sure. As you may have guessed, this baby is also self-shipped (by yours truly), so please allow a little bit of time for your order to be processed (meaning that it might take us a day or so to buy the bubbly wrap and walk the things over to the post office). We're kind of a pint-sized operation here at speak, but we'll be sure to get your CD to you as quickly as possible.
Also: When you purchase the CD, the price includes an immediate download of our album in your choice of 320k mp3, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire. Sheeeiiit!

Leaps of Faith definitely has an early Krautrock feel (as in early Ash Ra Tempel, specifically). I am reminded of the films Aguirre, the Wrath of God and Apocalypse Now when listening to this - which, though horrifying at times, are two incredible films to have in mind. Christopher Moklebust

Mary Halvorson is a genius composer and guitarist who has developed her own musical language, and with Code Girl she has incorporated poetry into that language. Incredible compositions and lyricism (each track is a different kind of poem). Halvorson's playing is as great as usual, and all the other members of the band sound great. Robert Wyatt's singing in particular works extremely well in the tracks he's featured. Highly, highly recommend. rat

Magic in its purest form. I love Floating Points, I love Pharoah Sanders, I love The London Symphony Orchestra. It's a match made in heaven, and the result is absolutely gorgeous. I have loved this record since its release, and realized I don't own it for some reason. So its time to change that. 9.5/10 honestly could become a 10/10 on an indepth vinyl relisten. angrypizza98
